On the Fashion Radar
Cherise
Cherise is a beautiful new clothing line for girls, complimenting and extending this Stamford design house’s established and awarding winning line Le Fromage et L’Orange (ages 3-7).
What is the age of Cherise? Literally, the age of Cherise is 7-16 (tween and teen). Less literally, the age of Cherise is a unique look, rich colors, European detailing and flavor: and like the age of its wearers, a well balanced blend of style and sophistication. Sweet (but not too sweet). Feminine (but neither adultish nor girly). Full of dreams and promise, Cherise offers its youthful wearers, a fabulous expression in colors, prints, embroidery and style. This collection fulfills what is perhaps the essential promise by which we measure any collection -namely, that it raises the dimensions, dynamics and (yes) even contradictions of its intended wearers to the level of poetry and song. Cherise fulfills and expresses this promise, without pushing its wearers back to childhood or prematurely into womanhood.
Cherise is available at www.cheriseinc.com, Bloomingales, Nordstrom, My New Wardrobe in Avon, CT and Lollipop Guild in Westport, CT.
