Grand Opening of BRAG Showroom:
“BRAG to be heard, DARE to be seen”

THEATRICS is the theme, and FASHION is our scene!

Student created, student run, the GRAND OPENING of the BRAG showroom will feature the designs of three talented students and give them an opportunity to show various boutiques their designs. This showroom will showcase the fashion art of Alysha Forde, Vanessa Ortiz, and Daniela Vlad. Although these three designers have very distinct styles, they all share a passion for fashion.

The BRAG showroom was created by the fashion merchandising students at Gibbs College in Farmington. The exclusive opening will take place on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 6 p.m. There, you will meet the students who worked so hard in building the showroom: Elizabeth Caban, Heidi Dombek, Alisha Dumeer, Amy Gomez, Chad Hart, Crystal Rivera, Lisa Sattaur, graphic designer Erin Hallock, and their professor Jennifer Sauer.

And the designers are….

Alysha Forde

“Lee” is a designer who wants to bring plus-size garments out of the shadow. She plans to transform the plus-size market.

Vanessa Ortiz

Her vintage inspired styles define who she is as a fashion designer. She loves to incorporate fashion from the 1900s to the 1940s in her designs.

Daniela Vlad

Different style, different perspective. Daniela’s dresses have classy written all over them. Her wedding designs bring a whole new meaning to holy matrimony.
